Seahorse room

This room provides the younger children with the opportunity to explore resources safely at their own level of development whilst being supported by a nominated key person, whether they are the very youngest of babies who may be stationery, crawlers or early walkers. The room is organized so that children can access a quiet cosy area, small group get time together, to be able to be creative and as they grow, to be able to self choose any resource. There are role play opportunities, to include access to small world resources as well as a home corner. This room also has a sleep room as well as a sensory area which helps children regulate their emotions and feel safe. The room opens into a secured garden area where the children can investigate further through a variety of resources.
